The Boys’ Brigade was established 135 years ago and since then has been raising money and taking team members to Uganda. In 2014, the Batallion funded a medical centre to provide medical care for over 4,000 underprivileged people in the area of Nasasongola. They have also helped to fund a primary school in the same area and have continued to take teams to carry out Bible clubs and teach the locals new skills. They have recently received funding to build accommodation for medical staff at the health centre, to better equip those who are serving the local community.
