ABC Health Foundation is continuing with the training of family physicians and nurses all over Albania. During the month of May, we have done 15 training sessions on 5 major diseases (Asthma, SPOK, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Dyslipidemia) in the towns of Fier, Vore, and Burrel and have trained over 200 family doctors and nurses. We are thankful to our ABC team members for all the work they have done to make these important trainings happen.

On May 6th, our team with one family doctor, one physiotherapist and two nurses went to Korca. We are glad to be able to help the local church there offering staff training for First Aid and helping the community with medical consults. Our nurse Irena was leading the training for church members, while the other rest of the team provided medical care for the local community in collaboration with the local church.
