Fultang started its beginnings in 2005 when a piece of land was purchased, it is now made up of emergency and laboratory blocks, with other blocks consisting of theatre, maternity, administrative and an intensive care unit. It provides care for the local community as well as students from its residential school which has over one thousand students. It is improving the access of healthcare to many and aims to educate the locals in how to live a healthy lifestyle to avoid certain diseases.
