Through the Village Alive Project, Nepal Leprosy Trust has seen health and well-being improved in marginalised communities. The main focus of the project is firstly to improve water, sanitation and hygiene, and to provide resources and education around child and maternal health. The project is currently focusing on five villages in the Terai districts of Nepal, and their aim is to improve the socio-economic status of people living in these areas, as well as providing education in hygiene and medical matters to improve their standard of living.
