This is the permanent hospital that Christian Faith Ministries are building at their site in Wurin Alheri. The picture shows the preparation for the concrete decking above the ground floor. The plan is to pour the concrete decking this week and then start building up the next floor. What a blessing this hospital will be. The region between Wurin Alheri and Bauchi State in Nigeria is large, conflict-fragile, and almost empty of medical services. It has one of the highest Hepatitis B rates in the world. This same region has one of the highest mother-to-child HIV transmission rates also. CFM want to provide diagnostic and treatment services for these conditions with viral load monitoring capabilities. There are no x-ray facilities in this heavily populated region. This will help a lot of people when these facilities are available at Wurin Alheri.
