A good number of the children brought up under Lapson and Ellen’s care are now adults and independent. Some are now married and have built little houses at the back of Lapson’s compound. There are seven now and it's like a little village being formed, which they call Hope Village. This is very moving to see, and an evidence of their love and respect for Lapson. Z pictured here has gone back to school (a small house was built for her and her little girl).
It is wonderful seeing these young people realising the promise of Jeremiah 29 v11 being fulfilled. Provision over recent years has enabled many to go for training; one electrician, three nurses, four teachers, three drivers, five mechanics and others. Two lads have been offered places at university but are needing sponsoring.
