Pray for the desperate needs currently faced by Bangladesh; a staggering 1 million adults in Bangladesh are blind with 60,000-70,000 added to that figure every year. On top of that are the 400,000 children that have cataracts or refractive errors, as well as other forms of blindness.

Pictured is a man who had cataracts as a child, the operation was not available to him and then it was too late. He has sat in darkness for the whole of his life. Rachel has seen the man on the corner of the main road in Moulvibazar since before 2006 when Rachel first visited, and he was still there this year. Please pray for him; that the team may be able to bring the light of Jesus into his life.

The team are always seeking to avoid situations like this when blindness is avoidable, if only the proper treatment is made available to them.
