'She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins'
Matt. 1:21

We would love to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a blessed 2026! Thank you so much for another year of support - is has been so encouraging to join with you all to pray for our partners overseas who provide healthcare while sharing the saving message of Jesus Christ.

We have been in touch with the team at Acheru and they are delighted with the news that we were able to secure all the matched funding. They are working on more detailed plans of how they can help as many women in the north of Uganda understand the benefits of giving birth in a health facility. We will be sharing more details of this in the coming weeks.
If you are still moved to give to help reduce the number of children suffering from cerebral palsy then you are still able to do that through our usual giving channels - bank transfer, website or cheque. Please mark any gift Acheru and this will go directly to them.

We received enough goods following the announcement that the warehouse is closing that we have been able to ship another container to Zambia in the last week. It is due to arrive in Zambia around the beginning of February. Thank you to all those who donated.
The next task is to clear the warehouse of the remaining goods that are still here and we expect that the final container from Swindon will ship towards the end of February.
If you still want to donate goods then we have a new system in place for 2026. Hopefully, you have received details of that and we will be in touch with details of when the next container will go in the new year. Please feel free to get in touch if you are unsure about anything, have any questions or need more information.

Our desire is to help young Christian medics who want to serve their local communities and share the love of Jesus through the healthcare that they give to care for the whole patient (body, mind and soul).
We do that in a small way through the elective bursary scheme for UK-based medics, but what about those in other countries?
For many years we have had a strong relationship with CMML Health Board in Zambia which oversees the work of the mission hospital and clinics in the northwest province.
They have identified 4 young Christian medics who need support to continue their medical training. Each one has been assessed by the Board on their competency for medical studies and their Christian character and will be mentored by them during their training with the aim of them working at one of the hospitals when they complete their training.
Would you be interested in helping to support them through their studies? If God has put this on your heart as a way of investing in His kingdom then please get in touch and we can share more details of how the sponsorship scheme will work.

Rebecca will be heading out to Nepal on 26th January where she'll be serving at Okhaldhunga Community Hospital for two months - please keep her in your prayers as she prepares to go, and that it may spark an interest for getting involved in medicine overseas in the future.

Our project focus this month is CRESS in Uganda who offer support to refugees who have had to flee from their homes, with the provision of healthcare and practical support.

Our latest magazine focuses on different ministries in Uganda and the practical support they offer in order to share the saving message of Jesus.
We hear from a range of our partners who serve those living with a disability, refugees who have had to flee their homes and a mission hospital offering local communities good quality affordable healthcare.
