Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

BigGive 2025
We would love to introduce you to the ACHERU project in Uganda who we will be raising support for this December through the BigGive, where donations can be doubled and have twice the impact.
ACHERU work to educate communities on the risks of home births, and how it can lead to the baby's brain being starved of oxygen or other health risks which can result in the baby being born with cerebral palsy. The team provide both the education and practical support to allow women to be able to give birth in a health facility.
At the ACHERU clinic, they also provide daily support for those already living with cerebral palsy, through the provision of physiotherapy, activities and education to give those living with the condition the best quality of life.
From 2nd - 9th December, keep an eye out for details of our BigGive campaign if you would like to support the project financially - but, above all, please keep the ACHERU project in your prayers as they work to avoid more babies being born with cerebral palsy and support those already living with the condition.
Grev's visit to Central Asia
Thank you for praying for the trip. The team really enjoyed meeting local believers and mission workers and hearing their stories, seeing various ministries including different types of clinics - government, charity and for business - a hospice for the homeless (see below) and some community development programs as well as going to an international and local church.
The trip opens the eyes of the teams to the many different ways they can get involved in medical mission and opened up some possibilities for them to consider in the short term. It was fascinating to hear the story from our hosts of their journey into mission and the joys/challenges of serving in a very different context. We were inspired by the stories of local believers who have suffered much to be followers of Jesus and challenged by the difficulties the church faces from increasing government regulations.

Please keep all of our medical students in your prayers as they continue in their studies - many have returned looking into other ways of serving medically overseas after what they have experienced on their electives, so please be praying for God to work in their lives.
