Earlier this year we awarded a grant to Seedsowers to build a new clinic in Mishoni in Malawi.

Mishoni village has a population of 2,074 households, with 504 under-five children visiting the clinic every month. The current clinic is conducted under a tree which means that they do not happen during the rainy season much to the detriment of the children's health.
The community provided the bricks, sand, and labour for the project and we were able to help with the provision of the more expensive items such as cement, iron sheets and timber.

It is exciting to see that the clinic has been finished and they recently had the commissioning ceremony and dedication of the clinic. We look forward to seeing it being used as a clinic, having space to safely store vaccines and being used as a community space for Bible studies and services.
