The ABC Foundation aim to provide affordable and quality care to those within the local community who do not have access to good healthcare due to lack of staff, equipment and training. The Foundation reaches out to the community to give basic health education programmes, and also offers training for doctors and nurses. Their most recent project which is now running its first phase is a focus on free outpatient palliative care. The aim of the project is to provide quality medical, psychological and spiritual care for patients suffering from life-threatening illnesses. MMN have offered support to allow this project to be staffed and for necessary equipment to be purchased to provide care for these patients.
